Last month, I was personally invited by Japanese fashion designer Tadashi Shoji and Rustan’s Makati to attend the opening of the designer’s first boutique in the country!

I’ve always loved Tadashi’s classic style when it comes to his dresses. They are all timeless pieces and something I can wear five — or even ten years from now! In fact, this is already my third dress made by him — and I plan to keep all of them and pass them on to my daughter when she’s all grown up!

Another reason why I love this brand is that Tadashi Shoji’s dresses make women feel and look their best even though they are not a size zero. Just like this dress I wore on this day, the silhouette and cut just fit the body in the right places! In this opening night of Tadashi Shoji in Rustan’s Makati, I was also lent this beautiful diamond earring and necklace set by Italian jewelry designer Roberto Coin (also available in Rustan’s Makati). I love how these classic jewelry pieces just fit the delicate blue lace dress I was wearing that day!

Check out some of the behind the scenes of this busy day (which actually started with a photo shoot with Metro Society!)
