An Afternoon With Grace

It was exactly a week ago when Grace Home’s much-awaited summer trunk show and event, An Afternoon with Grace happened.

It was a wonderful collaboration with ultra-chic fashion boutique, Shop LCP. This was an open-to-the-public event where we sent out invitations to all our friends, followers on Instagram, as well as subscribers to The Spoiled Mummy blog’s newsletter!

This was my amazing event partner Pie Alvarez, the incredibly hard working woman behind the brand LCP (Love, Candy Pie). She came up with this high-end retail boutique to fill the gap for unique fashion finds and playful accessories in a luxurious setting.

*And a bit of trivia to prove that she is more than your typical fashionista : Pie also happens to be the youngest mayor in the country! She has been serving as Mayor of San Vicente, Palawan since year 2010.

Of course, I wore a beautiful white summer lace dress from Shop LCP!

My team and I had set up the day before, so on the day of the event, it was easy breezy for us to welcome the guests! Here are some photos of our Grace Home items and some of our guests who spent time with us during that lovely afternoon :

Pie and I planned this event to be more than your usual trunk show. We wanted our guests to relax, have fun, meet old and new friends alike in a nice and cozy setting…

So we filled our event with food, bubbly (and a few tequila shots here and there too!) and surrounded our guests with beautiful things all around! (c/o Shop LCP and Grace Home of course!)

And in between all that… I willingly served as the tindera for Grace Home, explaining each and every product and the “story” behind all of them to my customers!

While the shopping party went on, there was of course my little “talk” which Pie hosted, and that took place in one side of the room.

Here she asked me questions on why and how I started the blog The Spoiled Mummy almost 5 years ago, how it evolved to what it is now… and how 3 years after its very first blog post, it led me to create and give birth to another brand, which is what we now know as Grace Home.
