TSM FAVE THINGS – DECEMBER

And we are down to the last two days on the last month of the year! Seriously, are you guys ready to end 2016? I sure am! But before we say goodbye to the year’s past… here goes our monthly roundup of TSM Favorite Things for December :

1) Soleil long sleeve top from Sweat Pants Project

I’ve always loved wearing pink…especially with my workout clothes as I feel this helps me “push” myself a little bit harder when I am in the gym! Now, whether that’s true or mainly just my way of tricking myself to believing that I’m actually working out harder, I believe colors do influence our mood a lot! So this pink top is surely a favorite of mine nowadays. The fabric is so light, ultra soft and very comfy plus the fit is great! I use it as a “travelling shirt” too — I’ve worn it in the plane a couple of times and have used it as a light sweater in cold places!

2) My first time to be a Ninang in a wedding

Yes, you read that right! I was a ninang at a wedding – a wedding of a dear friend of mine who is only in her 30’s… and can I say,  I am only a few years older than she is?! This was quite an experience for me, since it is my first time to stand as principal sponsor at a wedding. Now if you’re Filipino (and below 50 years old), you know this is quite a big deal! This explains why I accepted this responsibility which I believe is also a big honor and privilege for me at the same time!

With all the bridesmaids and secondary sponsors of the wedding!

3) Christmas dinners at home

Of course, what is December without dinner parties, get togethers and reunions at home? The busiest time of the year for me actually starts at the end of every November, on every birthday of mine to be exact. As soon as my birthday week rolls in, the endless parties begin! And four days right after mine is the little girl’s birthday and a few days after that,  is the hubby’s! So you can just imagine that within a span of less than two weeks – we actually have three birthdays to celebrate! And soon right after all the birthday parties are done… my Christmas dinners at home with different groups of friends begin!

Of course, I used a lot of  Grace Home glassware during this time! Here are some of my favorite table setttings at home during this month :

4) The Reason for the season

Chritmas

Of course, the main reason we Christians are celebrating the holidays is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But amidst all the festivities and revelry surrounding Christmas, let us not forget the true meaning of this holiday, the real reason for the season — which is really God showing the world His great and unconditional love. Christmas is a season of great joy but it is also a time of healing and renewed strength.

No matter how big or small you celebrated, here’s hoping you all had a merry and wonderful season of peace and joy with your family and loved ones.

And before I end this last blog post of mine for 2016, I would like to say thank you once again for all the love and support you have given The Spoiled Mummy this year! I am looking forward to a better 2017 with all of you by my side. Here’s wishing each and every one of you a happy and more blessed new year!!!

Till then!
