We are on the first week of December and the holidays are indeed in full swing! People are rushing to and fro, traffic is getting worse by the day as holiday parties increase in frequency and reunions just seem to happen one after the other! And I’m sure most of you (just like me) have been squeezing in some shopping time here and there to finish your Christmas list!
In my case, I am also busy handling the business and operations side of Grace Home Manila while of course, taking care of the three kiddos and ensuring the household runs smoothly especially during this mayhem period! I have also just began hosting my holiday parties here at home which means cleaning up, organizing, rearranging the house and cooking again in kitchen! I started it off yesterday with a small group of high school friends. In the coming days, I have more dinner parties scheduled… so expect a lot more of these posts on my Instagram!
So if you have been wondering why I haven’t been answering emails lately or writing on the blog, it’s because really, my plate is just so full: packed and brimming with a lot of things — both with things to do and delicious holiday food to consume! Yes, it is the most wonderful time of the year but no doubt, this is also the busiest time of the year for me!
Oh did I even mention that this is also the season when I have not just one, not two, but three birthdays in the family?! Yes all three are just a few days apart : mine, my little girl’s and the hubby’s — all with different kinds of parties and celebrations to organize, and all within a span of 2 weeks!
As for some of you who follow me on Instagram know, I celebrated mine “quietly” last week by flying away to Tokyo for 3 nights, and as soon as I landed back in Manila, it was time for me to host my girl’s Star Darlings party at Adventure Zone and on the same day, I also had to go to my Grace Home Manila trunk show with Cura V in Rockwell! So yes call it double — even triple craziest time of the year for me!
So for now, I will try to catch my breath as I prepare again for another holiday party here at home set on Saturday. But in the meantime… since we are talking about holiday parties, allow me to share with you a few tips about graceful entertaining during the holidays. This is an interview that came out in Philippine Daily Inquirer recently. Sharing it here as it is timely during this season of endless parties!

And here’s my one last but most important tip for all of you : Enjoy the holidays while it lasts! (Because really guys, before you know it… it will soon be over!!!)
