TSM FAVE THINGS : OCTOBER 2016

Processed with Snapseed.

So here we are at the end of the month once again, and if you are following me on Instagram, you know I am far away from home at this moment. I am currently in Copenhagen enjoying the cool weather and the amazing food scene! But before I even get into that… here goes our usual end-of-the-month TSM Fave Things post. Allow me to share with you some of my highlights from the busy month of October!

The Launch of 4 New Grace Home Products

It was during this month that I launched not just one, not two or three, but FOUR new products from Grace Home! It was a busy month indeed as I gave birth to babies one after the other! 😉

1) SKIN BY GRACE HOME

After several months of product research and development, I finally introduced my newest product line, SKIN by Grace Home. This is a unique line of hand soaps and hand lotions that are well-formulated, mildly scented (with aromatic herbs) and provide our skin the antioxidant benefits it needs.

SKIN by Grace Home comes in two unique formulations : Sage, Ginseng and Lavender and Sage, Ginseng and Green Tea. It is safe to use for all skin types.

2) BOHEMIAN GLASSWARE AND FINE PORCELAIN TEA SETS : THE HOLIDAY COLLECTION

Bordeaux Collection Grace Home Manila

3) THE NEWEST BEESWAX CANDLE : FIG, SANDALWOOD and GRAPEFRUIT

Grace Home Candle in Fig, Sandalwood and Grapefruit

After several months of formulating and testing, Grace Home released its newest candle : Fig, Sandalwood and Grapefruit. If you liked the first and second, I can already assure you that you will love this third candle even more!

The 3 main ingredients: fig, sandalwood and grapefruit come together beautifully in a luscious fragrance formulated for both men and women in mind! Fig gives a very subtle but rich scent, sandalwood creates an uplifting and energizing mood all around, and grapefruit leaves you with a very cooling and refreshing scent. This is a sweet and luxurious candle that is ideal for your home during the holidays and perfect to give as gifts as well!

Read more about it here.

4) THE TROPICAL COLLECTION THROW PILLOWS

Tropical Pillows

Last but certainly not the least, Grace Home launched its newest Tropical Collection Throw Pillows, which come in 4 designs using the simply chic Selloum plant!

What was the inspiration behind this new collection? I believe that changing throw pillows at home is actually the easiest and most practical way of changing the look and feel of our homes — without having to spend too much or move heavy furniture around. I am also not a fan of those Christmas-themed red and green throw pillows normally found in department stores during this time of the year… so I designed a more stylish and non-traditional way of decorating and changing the look of our homes for the holidays!

The Grace Home Trunk Show

Processed with Snapseed.Right before I left for this holiday, I hosted a Grace Home Trunk Show, the biggest one I’ve done so far. It was held in the spacious and well-appointed Focus Global building at the Fort, BGC. (I will share with you in greater detail what happened during the event in my next post). But for now, this trunk show is included in TSM’s Fave Things simply because this is a highlight for me and for Grace Home. It came at the right time too since I launched several new products right before the event!

Of course, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my partner in this trunk show, Happy Ongpauco-Tiu, who together with her very well-trained team prepared the sumptuous food for all our guests.

Happy’s very own bespoke catering service gave us one long spread of delicious food from all over the world! There was this gorgeous cheese and charcuterie board made of homemade cheeses, French cheeses, cold cuts and Jamon iberico leg. We also had a long mezze table filled with hummus, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, palak paneer, samosas, chutneys and Indian bread! Then there was a Chef’s table, an interactive station which offered guests herbed Porchetta, roast beef with fig jam, angulas with grilled tomatoes, crab fat paella pasta, truffle pasta with poached quail egg and caviar. And aside from all those, we also had a couscous bar that served sous vide beef bourguignon and torched salmon teriyaki.

Yes, it was really not your usual trunk show, it was certainly a one-of-a-kind luxurious event that Grace Home is happy and proud to have done for its friends and customers!

Chanel’s Newest Fragrance : N°5 L’Eau img_5125

Two weeks ago, I was invited by Rustan’s the Beauty Source to their intimate press launch for Chanel’s newest fragrance, Chanel N°5 L’Eau.  This scent is the younger and modern version of the classic perfume, Chanel N°5. It is very light and fresh compared to the sophisticated original.

I say it is my new favorite as it is a lovely scent that stays, lingers for a while and then simply slips away… like that of a mysterious, beautiful woman!
