#MummyBosses: Happy, Kai and Christine

We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback on our #MummyBosses series that I wish to continue it here on The Spoiled Mummy for as long as there are these inspiring women around us! In fact, almost every day, I meet and see a lot of these amazing women and they make me want to be a better person, a better #MummyBoss myself. 🙂 They inspire me with their hard work, creativity and passion at what they do outside the home, all while still being able to take care of their homes and their children 24/7.

So who are our #MummyBosses this time around? Meet Happy, Kai and Christine.

Happy Ongpauco Tiu

Happy Ongpauco – Tiu
Founder, CEO and Executive Chef, Happy Concept Group

Happy is the Founder, CEO and Executive Chef of the Happy Concept Group which consists of several well-known restaurants (Pamana, Hawaiian BBQ, Bento Box, World Topps, I love Backyard BBQ ), food cart business (My Happy Carts), private and bespoke catering service (Private Dining by Happy Concept Group), a boutique hotel in Tagaytay (The Boutique Bed and Breakfast) and a home service slimming clinic (Slim at Home). Aside from juggling all these growing businesses, she still calls herself a full time housewife and a hands-on mom to 3 young boys.

Kai Lim

Kai Nakanishi-Lim
Co-owner, CURA V

Kai is one of the 5 ladies who form the well-curated, lifestyle boutique, Cura V.  She is in charge of foreign buying, inviting local designers, and handling the day-to-day operations of the store, located in Powerplant Mall, Rockwell. On top of all her responsibilities in the retail scene, she has just given birth to her third, adding another one to her growing young family.

Christine Laman
Lawyer and Entrepreneur

Christine is a lawyer by profession and is working with the family-owned business engaged in sending Filipinos overseas in the shipping, oil and gas industries. An entrepreneur at heart, she created her first business by age 21 and co-founded the highly successful Big Chill (a chain of juice bars all over the metro), the School of Fashion and the Arts (the SoFA Design Institute), and La Creperie (a creperie and restaurant in one, with a growing number of branches all over Metro Manila). She is now a new mom to a baby boy.

How do they do it all? How do they make motherhood and working at the same time look so easy? How do they balance family and career, making it seem effortless? That’s the burning question to all these#MummyBosses around us! And if you are one of them, or if you know the answer, leave your comments below. I would love to hear from you!
