Exactly a week ago, I braved the rains and decided to check out for myself what everyone has been talking about : Landers, the newest membership superstore has just opened! So I braced myself for traffic and left home at exactly 10:30am on a Monday morning… only to be pleasantly surprised that it took me only 35 minutes from Makati to Balintawak, Quezon City!
As soon as I walked in, I decided to get myself their membership card right away. Presently, they have an ongoing promo which runs until September 15: a discounted rate of only P640 for one full year of membership, inclusive of all its privileges and perks.
In a matter of minutes, I immediately got my membership card and I was ready to shop away!
Now I know why this is called a “superstore”! Landers is massive (8,000 sqm.- bigger than any other supermarket in the Philippines) and offers a wide selection of premium quality local merchandise and top-notch imported grocery products. Now there’s no need for us to hoard grocery items when abroad, or ask friends and family balikbayans to bring home stuff because everything is already here.
Landers has everything you need and much more. Aside from your basic grocery items, they have electronics, apparel, health and beauty products…
…as well as some nice, cozy furniture for your home too.
Of course, I couldn’t help myself as I scoured the aisles and found some of our family favorites. Here are the things I found and stocked my kitchen pantry with :
And aside from food…
Landers also carries some of the nicest and fluffiest (and inexpensive) towels too!
And imported swimsuits (with built-in SPF protection), perfect for our kiddos.
And of course, I couldn’t resist looking at some new luggages too.
Landers is really massive and well-stocked. It has everything you need!
But what I like about this place is that everything is clean, well-organized, and more importantly (and this is the best part), prices are cheaper compared to other groceries and supermarkets out there. (Now, you can’t say no to that!)

So what did I end up trying? They are known for their Brooklyn-style pizzas, chicken roll-ups and rotisserie chicken, which is always sold out!
And they also serve the famous Nathan’s Hotdogs too!
After eating all that, I even brought home a whole box of pizza to treat my kiddos!
No wonder even though Landers opened just a few months ago, it has been the biggest talk of the retail town. Not only is everyone surprised by its massive space, but everyone is happy with its well-selected and less expensive merchandise too. And the delicious food you get after all that shopping? That’s your bonus!
