Whenever I am in Greenbelt 5, The Spoiled Mummy always makes it a point to pass by her favorite Patisserie, Sinfully Circles by Makati Shangri-La. And every time I go inside this shop, let me tell you — I am immediately relaxed and transported to heaven! 🙂 The sight, the sound, the smell of all things Chocolate instantly calm me and just make me feel oh-so-good and happy! 🙂 I don’t know if that’s just me, but every time I walk in and smell their freshly baked breads, pastries and chocolates (the fresh chocolates!!), I immediately forget my concerns and that word that I dread but nevertheless is always constant in my life, D-I-E-T!!
There’s something about entering a luxuriously and playfully decorated Patisserie such as Sinfully Circles that makes me want to try and eat almost every beautiful thing in sight! Every single thing here is made using only the top-most quality and the freshest of ingredients. There are cakes, cookies, breads, pastries, macarons and all kinds of chocolates, truffles and pralines in every conceivable design and flavor. Bonus part is that they all come in beautiful (and should you wish, customized) packaging!
One very unique feature of the shop is its Chocolate Room. And you can probably tell that the mere mention of these 2 words instantly brightens up The Spoiled Mummy’s mood! 🙂 This is a glassed-off, temperature-controlled area that is visible from the store front, that makes anyone who passes by to stop and watch what the pastry chef is doing. (And I’m telling you if given the choice, I can actually stay in this room for a very long time!!)
I’ve always appreciated interactive store window displays and for a Patisserie to have this kind of store frontage is such a brilliant idea! Here, you can see that the pastry chef is handcrafting some fresh chocolates… and for a big Chocolate lover like me, seeing my Chocolates freshly made by hand and this close is something that is surely hard to resist!
Sinfully Circles also has an interactive touch-screen ordering system for their other line of cakes, called Emoti-cakes. This is a popular line of expressive specialty cakes inspired by the emoticons. With the touch-screen system, you get to choose the customized design of your Emoti-cake! 🙂 Upon completing your order, a print out slip will then come out and your personalized Emoti-cake will then be ready shortly afterwards!

If you get confused because there are just too many options for Chocolates, just ask for their box of top 10 best-sellers called The Top 10. Photo below.
With this box, you get to have 10 pieces of different kinds of Chocolates! There’s a varied mix of White, Milk and Dark Chocolates inside.
The Spoiled Mummy’s favorite? The very first one on the left! Dark Chocolate filled with Passion Fruit creme inside!
Another reason I like coming here? The very friendly and helpful staff, who are big chocolate lovers too and who I just found out, are loyal readers of The Spoiled Mummy! 🙂
