It has almost been 5 months since I last posted on the blog… the longest I’ve ever been away in this digital space! What happened???!! Well, to say that A LOT has happened is an understatement. But for those of you who are up to date and have been following me on social media (ie. Instagram and Instagram Stories), I’m sure you all know how very busy I have been these past couple of months! Life happens we all know it — and I must admit there were a couple of ups and downs here and there. But we move on, realign and refocus. And now I am back and happy to say that things are looking much better now than it was before!

So thank you for bearing with my absence! I hope you missed me as much I missed you! 🙂

And now that it’s almost the end of August (how did this happen?!)  and the crazy -ber months are on its way again to make our lives even busier than it already is (but dare I say, these times are always more exciting!), I am now sharing with you some quick and easy recipes that I have tried and tested over the past couple of months for TASTE BY GRACE HOME! I am hoping that you too will be able to try these recipes in your kitchen and will say that yes, they are really THAT quick and easy (not to mention, healthy and yummy) to do!

Taste by Grace Home’s Quick and Easy Recipes 

Organic Tomato Chutney Soup

½ cup Organic Tomatoes & Kaffir Lime Chutney

½ cup hot water

Pinch of salt (Himalayan pink salt, if you prefer)

Pinch of pepper

1 tbsp cooking cream

Fresh basil leaves

  1. Put the ½ cup of Organic Tomatoes & Kaffir Lime Chutney and ½ cup of hot water in a soup pan. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it boil.
  2. Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Drizzle 1 tbsp of cooking cream and top with fresh basil on top. Serve hot.

Optional : Serve with croutons on top or crostinis on the side.

Organic Chimichurri Cheese Dip

2 tbsp of Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri

1 bar of softened cream cheese

100 grams grated Edam cheese

Pinch of salt (Himalayan pink salt, if you prefer)

1 tbsp brown sugar

Note : You may substitute Edam cheese with quezo de bola or any of your favorite hard cheeses!

  1. Put cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add grated Edam cheese.
  2. Add 2 tbsp of Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri. Mix well together.
  3. Season with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp brown sugar.
  4. Serve with your favorite chips or pita bread.

Pink Peppercorn Honey Vinaigrette Dressing

½ cup Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns

1 cup of extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup white vinegar

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

2 teaspoon truffle oil

  1. Mix the ½ cup Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Red Wine or Balsamic Vinegar and Truffle oil and whisk for 30 seconds.
  1. Drizzle on top of your salad.

Fried Lemon Sole with Tomato Chutney

2 pcs of Lemon Sole fish

2 tbps of Organic Tomatoes & Kaffir Lime Chutney

1 egg

Flour

Panko breadcrumbs

Lemon

Fresh dill or parsley

  1. Dredge the fish in flour and egg. Cover with breadcrumbs. Fry.
  2. Drizzle a little bit of lemon. Top with fresh dill or parsley.
  3. Serve with a heaping of Organic Tomatoes & Kaffir Lime Chutney.

Roast Chicken with Chimichurri

Roasted chicken (homemade or store bought!)

Baby potatoes

A bottle of Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri

***Elevate your ordinary roast chicken by serving it with Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri on the side!

TIP : You may also pair this dish with your favorite pasta or baked potatoes!

Honey Glazed Fried Chicken

Chicken drumsticks and wings

A bottle of Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns

  1. Fry your chicken.
  2. Drizzle the Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns on top as much as you can! Eat with your (sticky) hands!

Steak with Chimichurri

Steak (homemade or store bought!)

A bottle of Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri

  1. Cook your steak the way you want it done.
  2. Serve with Organic Spinach & Mushroom Chimichurri on top or on the side!

TIP : You may pair this with mashed potatoes and of course, rice!

Cheesecake with Pink Peppercorn Honey

Plain Cheesecake (homemade or store bought)

A bottle of Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns

*** Serve your favorite plain cheesecake with a drizzle of Spiced Rosemary Honey with Pink Peppercorns. Enjoy with your coffee or tea!
