This blog post is actually the continuation of my last visit at the new The Aivee Clinic at the Fort…
Remember I toured you around the spanking brand new place that looked like a charming little French chateau instead of a dermatological clinic? (That video is right here.)
So this time around, let me show you the facial I did on that day. I chose to have a REVIVE FACIAL, because this is the one that suits the type of sensitive skin I have. Now aside from being sensitive, I also have a combination type of skin — dry on most parts, but oily on the T-zone!
As soon as I learned that this facial will effectively cleanse and revive my skin AND help eliminate free radicals for simultaneous healing and relaxation, I was more than ready to give it a go!
So what really happens during a Revive Facial? Here is the step-by-step procedure :
Step 1 : My therapist first removed my makeup and cleansed my skin. She then exfoliated my skin to scrub away dead skin cells.
We all accumulate dead skin cells through time and these must be removed sooner than later (and on a regular basis at that), so they don’t pile up giving us problematic or acne-prone skin! (Notice the red bump on my left cheek? That’s actually a pimple right there!)
Step 2 : My therapist applied serum all over my face which consists of Vitamin A, D, and E.
Step 3 : My therapist then applied a hyaluronic solution for skin infusion.
This is a moisture-rich solution that keeps our skin looking plump and hydrated and yes, young-looking.
Step 4: My therapist applied collagen and elastin serum on my skin for anti-ageing benefits.
So as you can see, the REVIVE FACIAL infuses a lot of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals — all of them in just one treatment!
But hold on! Before you read on, here’s a warning : don’t be afraid of how I will look in the next photos below!
Step 5 : My therapist then applied a cooling collagen mask all over my face.
I love how this is very effective for firming and tightening the skin.
Step 6: Lastly, my therapist then placed an Oxygen Dome over my face for 20 minutes.
I may look really scary here to some of you… but believe me when I say that this is one of the most relaxing facials I’ve ever had! And do you know why? This is because inside this dome is 100% pure oxygen!
The dome actually helps infuse the oxygen directly into my skin — helping it heal, relax, radiate and revitalize from inside out! Now isn’t that what we all want from our facial?
Here’s a short video too to show you how quick and easy, and painless the whole thing was for me!
The same day, I went out with some friends for dinner… and I was more than ready for a selfie! What do you guys think?
Friends noticed my immediate glow and radiance that day — and I say thanks to this vitamin and oxygen-rich Revive Facial from The Aivee Clinic!
There is also another facial I’ve tried here at The Aivee Clinic: the GOLD FACIAL, and I wrote about that here.
